The objective of the Communications area is to teach scouts the exciting ways to use and interact with technology, not only in the camp setting, but also at home.

Activities in this area spend a lot of time moving about camp. Participants will meet in the campfire ring on the first day, at which time a schedule will be devised for the rest of the week. Merit badges offered may include Communications, Music, Movie Making, Photography, and Theater.

Scouts will have an opportunity to use a number of state-of-the-art technologies such as iPads, video cameras, and media editing software.
