One of the youngest areas in camp, the Baden-Powell area is located in main camp near the top of Forest Ridge behind the Deer Pond.

This area has several programs with a focus on a Scout’s duty to be “mentally awake”, offering several Eagle Required merit badges, including Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, and Personal Management. Elective merit badges include Game Design, Chess, and Salesmanship.

Three of these merit badges have recommended ages of 14+ due to the high school-like content encountered in Citizenship in the Nation, World, and Personal Management. You should consult with your Scoutmaster before
signing up for one of these three merit
badges.
