Duty to God Awards

These are a 3-patch series exclusive to Ransburg Scout Reservation. They can only be earned during the camping week. Each patch increases in the sophistication of requirements allowing scouts and scouters to deepen in their respective faith journey over camping seasons. The requirements are universally Nonsectarian, and anyone can earn them, including campers and staff. No more than 2 patches may be earned in a single week so that there is adequate time spent on reflection and understanding of each person’s own faith tradition journey.

Scouts and scouters who have earned all three patches can also earn the series pin by writing about what they learned in their faith journey while earning the Duty to God awards.
