Ransburg Scout Reservation has one of the most diverse set of program offerings in the country. There are ??? unique programs offered to Scouts including an expansive waterfront, an on-site ranch, lots of high adventure programs, and a reknowned 1st-year camper program.
We offer a remarkably low camper to staff ratio, with about 1:6??? staff members per Scout. Our staff are highly trained and dedicated to their area, with many staff returning year after year to offer their enthusiasm and depth of knowledge.
Ransburg has one of the largest waterfronts of any BSA camp with a huge variety of merit badges and activities including small boat sailing, watersports, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and personal watercraft.
Ransburg is one of the few camps in the country with an on-site horse ranch. At the Ransburg Ranch, we are able to offer horsemanship merit badge, trail rides, a wrangler program, and a hands-on animal science experience.
Our extensive High Adventure program includes a climbing wall, high and low C.O.P.E. courses, ATV adventure, personal watercraft, and a dedicated older scout adventure program in RansburgX.
Project N.E.S.T. is Ransburg's renowned first-year camper program. Debuted in the summer of 2024, this program received accolades from Scouts, Leaders, and parents. The NEST area serves as a home base for your first-year Scouts as they will be exploring all that camp has to offer.
